I'm an experienced, energetic and fun American English teacher. I grew up in Massachusetts and lived in New York City for many years. I have taught at language centers, primary and secondary schools, universities and major corporations. I taught English to thousands of students of all ages and levels in Thailand for 4 years. Now, I live and work around the world, teaching online and in the classroom. I LOVE to travel and teaching online allows me to work from wherever I want and meet interesting students from around the world. Since leaving Thailand in June 2014 I have lived in Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Croatia and now I'm in Albania, where I'll stay for a year. Maybe I'll come to your country next! In addition to English, I speak Spanish at a pre-intermediate level (B1+), Thai at a beginner level and learn a bit of the local language wherever I go. For students interested in business English you will be happy to know I also run my own 3D printing and design company with my wife.

OUR 1st CLASS
This is very important. Our first class is about getting to know each other. The first class is not a regular lesson. My job is to use this time to gather the information from you I need to plan for our future lessons. I will assess your current English level, discuss your learning goals and I'll have a lesson plan prepared for every lesson after this. Your second class is your first regular lesson.

MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe learning should be fun. I use many different kinds of teaching materials, exercises and technologies. Sometimes I use games and activities to help you learn in ways that don't feel like studying. You learn faster and retain more when you enjoy your lessons!

YOUR LEARNING PLAN
I do a lot of work preparing for every lesson. I write lesson plans to guide each class and keep it focused on your learning goals. I will also teach you ways to integrate English into your daily life so you learn faster and more effectively.

Please take a look at my schedule and pick a time that's good for you to have our first session. I normally teach from Monday to Friday.
